Figured I'd start one of these for those of who pre-ordered via Samsung.

What model did you with? Color? Storage? Ship Date?

I ordered the S20 Ultra in Black, 512GB, Est. Delivery date is March 6

i entered my phone number for order status updates via text messaging and there was a "confirm" button, which i clicked.

it says that if you click that button, samsung will send you a confirmation to your cell via text.

well, it's been a while now and still no text at all.

Unlocked Ultra 512 black. Says ships by 3/4. I didn't receive an email or anything about my pre-pre-order sign up after their event. Just selected pre-order and picked my options. Not sure what the point of that even was except for them to get a feel of how interested people were...

I just couldn't get myself to pay the extra $14 for getting it one extra day earlier.

$14 doesn't sound like much, but $1600 for a phone plus $12 per month for insurance is a lot!

I didn't either. I almost did the insurance, but there's a deductable on it right? I can find where it stated in the terms.

It's fine it's just an additional day. Instead of Tuesday we will get on Wednesday 4th. Not bad.

By the time we've waited 2 weeks, we'll be eager to get going!

An extra day or two will feel so long, especially when everyone else is already posting pictures!

After checkout and paying on Samsung.com, did everyone see an option for text message confirmation option? I saw it and hit the "confirm" button so they would send me a confirmation text to get the text message confirmation process going.

Well, I never received any texts.
