Over the last 24 hours for us that have had our cards charged and orders comfirmed, do you think they will really start shipping out soon like the Samsung reps have been stating sept 5th? Would they charge us this soon if they were not going to be shipping?

My phone is worth $355 on Swappa & $425 to Samsung not that great of a deal and I learned the hard way with the N7 to always have a backup, so full price for me on the N8 bummer

Is it September 5th already? No. So we will not know till end of day 5th to see if they ship as speculated. Until then nothing is going to happen.

As i said earlier Monday is not a holiday is S Korea so i expect to see action Monday!!!

But the warehouse and people working are in US. It's not like they are shipping from South Korea. Every company observes the local holidays in the corresponding country where they are operating. If the distribution center in US is working on a labor day sure we can see movement on Monday but I highly doubt.

Right now i want Samsung to update my shipping status. I'm stuck at order placed and confirmed. That is with S Korea! Lol

Lol you think someone is going to update your order in South Korea.. Ok I don't have any arguments with you

All this systems are automated and your order is probably waiting to be fulfilled by the distribution center. Once they process your order at the fulfillment center in the US it's going to change status to shipped. It's not like some one is sitting in Samsung headquarters in South Korea and waiting to change your shipping status

My confirmation email is time stamped 9:30 am on the 24th. Nothing changed on my order today

My Iphone 7 plus is worth $700 on Swappa, so I am selling it to get that and pay for the Note 8 out right. Leaves me with $250 difference. The $425 isn't worth it.

I ordered my Sprint variant on 8/24 and am still sitting at Pre-Order and the charges have disappeared from my cc. It shows shipping on 9/11. I did not do priority. looks like those are the only ones whose orders are changing. I used the former Note 7 deal.

Yea, I paid the extra money to have the phone rushed to me over night instead of the free shipping. Maybe that's why for us who paid extra are being processed faster?

Hopefully the extra $14 pays off. What will suck is if phones don't ship until the 11th is that on the 12 my parents have a dr appointment and I could get a day shift so I'd have to wait until the next day for delivery or pick it up and wasted $14 lol.

WTF! I just checked and it is still "confirmed." So they're moving via that sept 5th date! I did order mine the 25th though so maybe I will get mine shipped soon then. I got my confirm about 18 hours after people who ordered on the 24th did.

Relax !!! It most likely is Verizon order probably not Samsung.com pre-order

Yes as others stated relax. There are a couple people on here posting in the wrong shipping forum. The Samsung orders from what I read have not started shipping of any kind. Take a breath.

Your a smart person, learning from the n7 that having a back up is important. Don't think most learned that like they should have.
