Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

May be digital river incompetence strikes again.. Not surprising !!!

When I pre-ordered mine (Tmo flavor) on the Samsung website, that same day 8/28 I got charged for the FULL AMOUNT on my credit card, then they uncharged it, then they went back and put a $1 charge on it...

AND it's still listed as "pre-order" with a "cancel" box on the Samsung website ... facepalm.

My tracking has finally gone live at UPS saying ready to be picked up. For those of us who have ordered from Samsung (Digital River) before this is really amazing. I really didn't expect to get this phone until MAYBE a day before they were available in the stores. So I am quite pleased with them at this time. Next step will be iF they do give me the full amount on my trade in.

Forgot to add, that the people who already posted and used the free, 2nd day shipping are getting theirs on 9/07. WHich is what mine shows as well, 9/07. But paid 14 extra bucks. guess that is coming off the bill.

Finally forward progress with concrete info. Just got mine as well ( within the past 10 min) coming out of same Indiana location, I still have a concern though. I paid for express shipping and I'm seeing delivery of the 7th as well. I'm alright with the 7th but why did I pay 14.00 to get it the same day as the free shipping.

Yes...and I'm pissed about that. I paid for next day as well, and mine says 2nd day. I'm contacting Samsung.

Mine is saying it is recieved as well. I chose the 1 day option and Samsung financing. According to UPS it's being sent 2 day. I checked my account earlier and noticed it was $14.00 cheaper than what it said at check out. So they may already have deducted the extra shipping cost from others as well.

Yep, just checked. Mine is $536 instead of $550. I'm still annoyed (although not quite as pissed). I paid for overnight because I wanted overnight, Samsung!

Mine shows delivery on Thursday too! was hoping to see an option with UPS my choice to redirect delivery to my work though since I won't be home to sign for it, but the only option right now is "leave with neighbor," and my neighbors are not consistently at home during the day either. Hopefully that option will show up or I'll have the option to request the driver to leave it at the door. '2nd day air" shipping seems to have fewer delivery options/modifications. Hopefully that's not the case though.

Okay, I'm pissed. I have had a shipping notice and a tracking number for 84 hours now, and UPS still has no information. What in the bleeping bleep is going on?

Mine updated this am, then I signed in and linked to my ups my choice and it confirmed Thursday delivery..my gorgeous fiancee has her only day off this week tomorrow..so I suppose she'll sign it!

Just like everyone else. Mine showed up in UPS with delivery Thursday. So glad i ordered early and paid for the overnight/priority delivery option so I could get it later than every carrier and at the same time as every other person that ordered from Samsung. I don't know who Ingram Micro is but they suck! 5 days to ship something after you receive the tracking info and then they ship it wrong.

Mine says order processed; ready for ups on September 4th but has no delivery date or other information. Any ideas what that means?
