Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Mine updated this am, then I signed in and linked to my ups my choice and it confirmed Thursday delivery....

Couldn't see the 9/7 delivery date until I did what delco714 did.

upon logging into UPS MyChoice, it also shows a delivery date of 9/7 for me too.

My turn to be pissed, but only because I paid for overnight shipping and mine ship via 2nd Day. It hasn't physically shipped just order processed.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. All Samsung ever promised us is that the phones should ship by 9/11. So, then Verizon and Sprint customers start to get theirs early. Ok. So what. Why are some of you getting bent out of shape about it. It's not like we are getting shafted here. We were never promised to get the phones a week early. It's awesome for the folks who did, but it's not like it's owed to us. And yes, I have a tracking number too.

To be honest I don’t really care about not being first but being last after being told you would be first is a bit frustrating. Also not even having a tracking number when others already have the phone kind of sucks. #firstworldproblems

Has anyone moved passed “Order Proccessed: Ready for UPS”? I’m already worried that it won’t arrive by 9/7

On UPS My Choice, my order shows a 9/7 delivery as well. Interesting that it shows the sender as Ingram Micro. So that's who Samsung is using to fulfill the orders.

Actually not true. They also said we would be the first to have them. But what ever. So it says authorized shipment release is unavailable at request of shipper and signature is required. That blows. I am not going to be home and I explicitly said on UPS MyChoice to leave in condo lobby. What's the point of MY CHOICE if I cannot choose. aaaaargh.

I'm enrolled in UPS My Choice and UPS just sent me an email saying a package is coming tomorrow between 11am-3pm EST! It requires a signature so I'm pretty sure this is my Note 8!

Weird thing is my order on Samsung's site doesn't have the tracking number anymore... I was sent a tracking number on Saturday but it contained no information..

My Choice is good for packages with no specific instructions from sender. Samsung told UPS they require a signature.
