I ordered it today at 5:45pm CDT on AT&T, and it is now SHIPPED with a FEDEX tracking #! DANG! I just canceled it with Samsung! It shows a delivery of tomorrow! 9/6!
 
I just canceled my Samsung order for AT&T model and reordered it from AT&T. Already got order in progress and almost ready to ship notification and CC has pending charge already.
 
You can simply notify most shipping companies to change delivery dates I have when I gotten my 14384dan plus and had to leave state due to family emergency I simply picked it up at ups hub
 
I ordered on the 26th which shows "pre-order" still on my order. For the T-Mobile version... hmm.

When Mr. Samsung said during his unpack event that the new Note will be available September 15, I thought I could believe him. I do not remember him saying September 5.

A near $1,000 purchase that requires a signature must be planned for in advance. September 15 I am on my vacation. Did not really want a new phone on a busy vacation because of the time it takes to customize and learn a new phone. But with a signature required, I had my phone shipped to my vacation destination.

Now, however, we have learned the phones will be delivered today, tomorrow and Thursday.

On hold right now with Samsung eCommerce to see if there is anyway to remedy this situation so that I can have a phone to my home in order to customize before I leave for my vacation. Been on now for 35 minutes.

"We apologize for any confusion this might have caused," is what I get to hear over and over again while on hold, regarding the new ship date.

This is what I get for trusting Samsung: the Chaos Company.

What was the exact wording? I checked the website just now and it says[FONT=Open Sans, Arial, sans-serif] will arrive by Sept 14.[/FONT] if so then today would meet that requirement.

Proof of my order with AT&T went through fast! Forget Samsung guys! If you have AT&T, cancel and get it from them.

I would love to but I used the note 7 promo and 425 discount is hard to pass up. According to their phone number the note 8 will start shipping tomorrow. They have a automated message now indicating it will ship tomorrow. Although it would be cool getting the device faster by ordering with att I know I'll kick myself for losing out on the 425 discount only to have the phone a few days sooner. I'll wait it out.

I hear ya. It worked for me because I sold my IP7+ for more than $425. Sold it for $650. So it works out better.

Well you could have still picked up an iPhone 5 from eBay and got the $425 trade in apart from selling iPhone 7+ separately
 
I keep checking but mine never changes from "Order Placed" with option to Cancel...lol
My order was placed on the 24th.

I've gotten the same response. And, I do hope it's true! But, at the same time, when I asked them a few days ago, they said it would be delivered on the 5th and 6th. Fingers crossed*

Okay, I'm pissed. I have had a shipping notice and a tracking number for 84 hours now, and UPS still has no information. What in the bleeping bleep is going on?

Yeah it's pretty aggravating for some. I can certainly see them preparing the orders over the weekend, but one would think the orders would've at least been transmitted to UPS today so they could have something in their systems. I read another post that said they should *start* shipping tomorrow even though a bunch of us got emails saying they were already shipped. Today is the first day I miss Verizon. Lol
