Seems the folks struggling with the camera seem to have focusing issues.

The iPhone 5 pics are more "overexposed" than the Note 3 pics...Taken with iPhone 5

conclusion...iPhone 5 photos look more real. Note 3 photos are over exposed.
More megapixels means you can zoom in more before the image starts to blur/get pixelated, not necessarily bigger imagesAlso to add this MP situation is a joke. 13 MP doesn't mean better images. It means bigger images.

I only see 2 pics but they both look good. No camera phone competes with my prosumer A350 and A700 but I'm happy with the convenience camera phones offer.
To me the all look good... Guess I am not picky.

"A Better Camera" app really makes a huge difference. This phone takes some incredible pictures with the right settings.
I'm really on the fence as to whether to keep the Note 3 or return it and go back to the Note 2. There is a lot to like about the phone, but the camera and battery life are major disappointments.

It's a good camera, but people's lack of photographic composition sucks. I've been in photography since I was young with a film SLR. We're still a ways off from having big enough sensors and software in our phones before they will take a photo comparable to RX100 quality. If you expect more, you might as well be asking for 3D holographic image projection. There is a reason compact cameras still have a place. Cell phones will take a decent picture, but will not be a replacement for a good advanced point and shoot, and for sure not a DSLR.
That's funny. I thought the same thing when I saw that post. Most of those pictures are pretty washed out.
