i have had a Note2, HTC one, and GS4 and now a Note 3.

The note 3 is the worst camera for sure.
I really hope an update changes this. Taking pictures of my 2 year old son is next to impossible with the slow shutter and processing time.

I got an update last week and now my photos look much better.

I love how many people are taken pictures in just about darkness,, calling it low light, just to trash the camera.. The one person who took a picture in a real "low light" situation is getting trashed because there was light,, huh? His picture clearly shows the note 3 took the better pic.. All others who are taken pictures in just about darkness with no flash on please get a grip.

So I found the legendary night mode on the note 3 lmao! It is now in the post processing section ha ha. Hit edit and wala. Night mode. Now let's have some fun.

If there is low light or no light....use the flash! Thats what it's there for. In my opinion there is not a thing wrong with the Note 3 camera. This low light/no light stuff is getting ridiculous lol.

Most everyone gets good cell phone shots from the note 3. I would say the guy that hates his note three and can't get a good pic from it has a defective device. I would suggest getting a note 3 that works.

Yup. But If you dive into a few settings you can get good photos in the dark. Just have to know what you are doing....and not everyone here understands their phone cam. Gawd this is getting ridiculous.

If the moment is that important to you then why would you not ensure that the environment is as conducive as it can be to taking a great picture? The only reason I can see why you'd want a camera phone that takes pictures in next to no light is if you're trying to use your phone to take pictures that you're probably not supposed to be taking in the first place.
