Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - How to disable the old Google Voice Dialer from opening with BT?

About 75% of the time when using bluetooth, "OK Google" opens the old Google voice dialer instead of Google Now Everywhere. The old voice dialer is terrible plus I'd like to be able to use the other search features of Google Now Everywhere. I can't achieve any consistency in the behavior. There are times I have this fixed but it then reverts to using the voice dialer instead of Google Everywhere. This used to work prior to KitKat on my N3. I was hopeful that 4.4.4 would be better but it is still the same. I want to go back to leaving the phone in my purse when I'm driving, but so far this is not possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I hate the Google Dialer that came with 4.4.4. S-Voice works much better on 4.4.4, so give it a try.
