The report you saw might not have been accurate, but the issue is 100% real. There are videos of people bending their iphones without too much trouble, particularly the 6+. Large screen with full aluminum body is an issue.

A note 4 ad stating "Note 4: Doesn't bend in your jeans" would be perfect now. :P

I think there maybe some truth to it because I remember a few ipod touch 5th generation owners saying that their devices had bent. The iPhone 6 and 6 plus have the same design as the ipod touch 5th generation.

I just used my phone's new iPhone 6, and to be very honest, it looks JUST like a Samsung phone. Big disappointment here.

I went to the Apple Store to possibly buy a 6 Plus but damn its way to big and awkward. I am going to check the Note 4 out asap. I've never owned a Android Device so this may be the first and its always caught my eye (the Note series).

I have been thinking of getting a iPhone 6 Plus and when T-mobile's website didn't actually work till like the next day and since I had to wait a month either way I decided with the note 4. Selling points for me on the iPhone 6 Plus was Better Sound Quality since the DAC ( Digital To Analog Converter) in the Qualcomm chips are terrible And while I am no audiophile I can tell the differences, I never hated iOS and changed because I wanted a bigger screen then 3.5 inches , and I do think App support is better and I really wanted to play Star Wars knight of the old republic on my phone ( Best game from the last Decade imo) but Decided with the note 4 since I do prefer AMOLED screens a lot more and the S-pen

Get both - that is my plan. I love iOS AND Android! I actually already have the 6+ and it is pretty darn nice and runs pretty darn smooth. Is it just me or do apps on iOS seem more polished?

I have a Note 4 on preorder and can't wait for it. I have owned the Note 1,2 & 3 and don't use the stylus but I can see where others find value in it. Just my 2 cents.

Same as the the s5. And pretty much any other high end smartphone including apple. Theses companies just customize it to fit there needs.

How is your battery life on note 3. Assuming note 4 battery will as good if not better the 3.

Yes, all those reasons mentioned above are part of the reasons. I need big memory space for my video, music, etc hence the expanded memory thru microSD, up to 128 GB is a deal breaker for me.

These 2 phones aren't even in the same ballpark. Just the 4k display alone puts the note 4 a tier above the iPhone 6. They made the display bigger but kept the resolution the same, resulting in a obsolete ppi. I guess they couldn't get Samsung or LG to make them 4k displays to rename the retina again

I'm quite a heavy user on SMS, online messengers, email & Facebook. My mobile data almost on the whole day. For a full charge it can last at least 8-10 hours. I'm using Battery Doctor app. It helps a lot in conserving the battery life.
