Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs

It's an S8+ with an s- pen, for an extra $ 200.00. Lol

Unless, of course, you're a "Note User" who seriously uses your S-Pen and has been without it since Flippin' Samsung took away your Note 7! Then, it's a Flagship Note 8!!! Booyah!

Wait until the Note 9 is ready to come out, and the Note 8 is $200.00 to $300.00 less. It's too expensive!!! Double Booyah!!

Hey... if you're going to live and think like that, you'll be WAITING for the rest of your LIFE!
Triple Booyah!!!

(because what about the Note 10... and the Note 11 - the 12? You follow my pattern - they'll always be something better down the road grunt - that's the nature of electronics unfortunately)

The bottom line is that the Note 8 is NOT worth the money. The nature of electronics is that the price goes up because people keep buying regardless of what the price is. I blame the consumers more than the company.

You keep leaving out "In your opinion" Grunt! Key point... you keep trying to force that on everyone on this forum... just say "In my opinion, the Note 8 is NOT worth the money" because in mine it IS! Please?

OK, in my opinion, the phone is overpriced big time.

That's me. I need my S-pen back!!!

OK, but what have you been using instead of an S-pen? You do know that you can get the Note FE, which is really a fixed up Note 7, for about $300.00 less that the Note 8. IMHO, it's a viable option.:p

Thought about that too. Where is it being sold for such a low price. Haven't checked in a few weeks Amazon & ebay were hiking up prices last time I checked.

Well, ebay was selling them for $ 650.00 a couple of weeks ago, but since the Note 8 was introduced, ebay raised their prices. $ 750.00 is the lowest price now.

So, in your opinion, one of the main problems with the Note 8 is the 3300 mAh battery - yet, the Note FE has only 3200 mAh... AND I have not been able to find any FCC Approval Documentation anywhere on the Note FE (as I was actually thinking about it when I first heard they were doing it a few months ago) which, to me, makes the phone illegal in the US, no?

I mean, I really toy'd with idea myself because I loved my Note 7... but after searching the FCC Site, came up empty... I'm not trying to bust here!

I don't think that ebay could sell it, if it was illegal in the U.S.

At that price, why not get the latest and greatest (maybe not greatest). I know it's a long shot, but if I get approved for the max discount then I pay just over $650 for a new Note 8.

If you can get it for $650.00, then you got a good deal. My problem is not just the price of the Note 8, it's also the size. IMHO, the 5.7" format of the Notes 4,5, and 7 were a winning combo. Here's something to think about...If the Note 7 had a good battery, i believe that the Note 8 would be the same size as the S8. Going from 5.7" to 5.8" is not a big deal. Just my 2cents worth.:p

Absolutely agree. I like the 5.7" display size and prefer it over ANY infinity display. But that's just me.

Well, in a perfect world and if we could go backwards, I would be right there with you - because the Note 7 was the BEST phone I ever owned... but, in the form that we had it, not this FE thing! God I loved that phone... however, and moving on...
