I have whatever insurance through AT&T but i think they still make me pay like 100$ to do a claim. so ill just wait until the screen starts to annoy me.

Go to phoneclaim.com you can check and see how much the deductible is without making s claim, and if you decide to you can make a claim there.

Every time I chatted I was told the week of September 5th. Today they told me they have no ETA....just that it's backordered. I feel like they're losing more customers to this than to the note 7 fiasco.

I just created an account on andriodcentral to post my experience here.

I ordered Aug 10 direct on Samsung. Blue 512 AT&T. No financing, supposed to ding the Amex when it ships.
Was "given" $400 trade in for note 8 plus the noise canceling headphones.

I received an email early this past Saturday AM saying "We are working hard to get your order shipped soon, and expect it will ship by Sep 29 2018". LOL. Keep in mind I was guaranteed delivery by Aug 24.

I canceled the Samsung direct order and ordered and unlocked US phone on Amazon it will be here tomorrow.
$1200 +/- and I got a "free" charger.

Ordered on the 11th of Aug for a Blue 512gb thru Samsung and financed it.Last weekend, I got the email saying that they hit a speed bump and now, to add insult to injury, they said that my order is 30 days late. Oh well .

Mine arrived today as well, same configuration but I ordered on 8/15. The fedex guy got here kind of late today also but it's understandable with all of the hurricane stuff. I couldn't even get gas at my usual spot the line was so long.

Since I'm on Tmobile I'm just ordering from Best Buy, Amazon or B&H next time since all the features work the same with tmobile for unlocked after all these horror stories.

So what with Best Buy you get the phone two days later or Amazon have to wait until that Monday after release. Worth an extra couple days wait than to deal with Samsung customer support. Amazon also has better pre order gifts as well.
