Mine still says preorder, no cancel button though. The cancel button disappeared about mid day yesterday.

Update** Still says backordered thru the shop Samsung app, but it no longer says backordered online, and the cancel order button is gone too. So the left arm isn't talking to the right arm lol. Perhaps this really is all a glitch and all who ordered via the reservation/early preorder window will be good after all?? Just seeing the word "backordered" disappear is a relief and a positive sign hopefully View attachment 288239

And another update**It's been updated in the app as well to "order placed", no more "backordered" status anywhere! Hopefully everyone who's been getting "backordered" will see the changes as well

Same here. My order cancel button disappeared late fri night. Since then nothing no final charge still not hit yet. Gives me tracking button now for earphones and my case though.

Hopefully they ship tonight. Tmobile customers many already charged and now in transit. They will get it before us!

I've seen it before where shipping activity starts late sunday very early Monday. I'll keep on checkin.

The 128 versions aren't the issue right now, it's the 512 blue version, the king of the options.

I have not seen any, A buddy of mine preordered the day pre orders were available 512GB Blue Verizon and he has had no movement. He still has the Cancel button. I work at Bestbuy and we have gotten about 20 phones in so far all of them are 128GB models, despite having a TON of 512GB pre orders.

That wording has now been removed for a reason... unfortunately. I don't think Samsung is promising that anymore. At the time I ordered last week, that promise was plastered throughout site and now it isn't. What you can do is to get estimated shipping date, go to checkout and right before you put your credit card details in, you'll see what the estimated shipping date is now.

At Bestbuy? No you wont get one on launch day. Heck we never even get enough phones to fill our preorders. My best recommendation is go to your carrier store on Friday morning.

I saw that too when I went through and mocked an order. But Samsung isn't making the same kind of promises up front like they did a week ago.

Looks like my pending charge just fell off this morning, didn't post yet though. What's weird is that my available balance is as if the pending charge were still there. Maybe it will post sometime today then?

Here is the thread if you want to read through it, but what I gather, they started to process and ship a week early. But not in order. All dependent on your location and vicinity of the warehouse you were closest too.

I am a little frustrated that we have seen no activity from BB yet and last year we at least saw it the weekend before. I am worried since I leave town the 25th that I won't get it before I leave.

Here is the more recent S9 preorders and how it went. Looks like the week of Monday-Tuesday they started to ship. So it looks like ours MAY start shipping Monday-Tuesday of this week.

Past does not gurantee present. We can go back further with best buy and see how they were late with everyone's shipment, can't remember if it was the note 7 or s8, but best buy was one is the worse ones then.
