Lol us Verizon customers got the note8 on sept 5th last year. Which was shocking. Doubt that would happen this year tho

I believe they'll ship at least several days early. It's good word-of-mouth to have happy customers chattering about their phones in public and online. It's similar to the psychological drivers which sees casinos putting 'looser' slot machines right near the entrances.

Lol yeah it is. I'll take it early but as long as I get it by release date I'm good.

im going back to my country my plane departure is on 8 oclock i think

No one can help you here because there is no guarantee that'll they will deliver it before 22nd. Only guarantee is you will get it in 24th but other dates it's just a possibility. Generally past releases they have delivered before launch date but it's not a guarantee.

Again no one knows, they can ship 1 week early, 10 days early or ship couple of days before for delivery on 24th. There is no fixed date other than you will receive it guarantee on 24th. In most cases they do ship little early but you will be taking a risk if you are dependent on delivery on 22nd.

Don't be surprised if they don't even know Note 9 exists lol .. they will give you a standard answer based on the info in the system which is order by August 20th to receive by August 24th. You can try calling it doesn't hurt.

Last year for the Note 8 they used UPS, at least for this region. Before that it was Fedex for the s8 Plus if I recall.

As for shipping early, The Note 8 shipped pretty darn early. I think the s8 Plus was 4 days early for most, don't remember. Verizon people started getting them around the 5th, and I think samsung.com was one day later. I know I would have got my Note 8 pretty early from samsung if it would have got onto the UPS plane in time and not been delayed by irma.

To get it super early like that again would mean they'd be shipping out around this Wed which I doubt it. That's too soon from unpacked.

I doubt they wait like they did with the Note 7 and shipped out at the last second. I used Tmobile for the note 7 and even they didn't ship early you might recall we got them on a Thur.

My guess possibly some of us get them on Aug 20th, that Monday if they make shipping labels over the weekend and ship it out Sunday night.

Hell, they could maybe start shipping thur night and get it this coming friday. I'd say the chances of getting it next friday are 15 percent, pretty low, following Monday 50 percent, but if I would to take a guess I say most get it on tue, aug 21.

I know samsung.com didn't give the option over overnight shipping this time, just second day. Last time they had to refund a lot of us the overnight when it didn't ship on time.

I think you have to contact samsung and they contact the carrier to tell them to hold it. You can't contact the carrier yourself to do it, they won't do it. I had an issue recently with an order I did from a supplier they somehow sent it to a local auto shop. I had to have the supplier contact uPS to pick the package up and bring it to me. They usually won't let the receiver of the package making any changes.

I do think if you have the UPS or Fedex manager account you can request it be held at the local hub. Otherwise it's two attempts for delivery I think before they hold it at the hub.

I have t mobile and I am on JOD .I pre ordered a note 9 with t mobile had to put 279 down then its 29/month of course I have to give them my note 8 .But I want to keep my note 8 as backup device . if i by from samsung, i can trade in my 8 plus, get 500 off note 9 and still use new note 9 phone on tmobile.but what i want to know is if something is wrong with note 9 would it be Samsung I would deal with to get it fixed.Another words I cant take it to T mobile correct?
