Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I preordered the moment it went live on AT&T (11 pm on the 9th) but because the time zone I live in is different than the AT&T headquarters, it shows midnight on the 10th.

Did Verizon charge your card, mine still says pending and no charges to my account
This is the direct from Samsung thread.

I pre-ordered on 8/13 a blue 128. Delivery was slated for next week like everyone. After a few days of reading this godforsaken forum I changed my mind. I canceled my order and reordered the blue VZW 512 this morning, 8/17. So my expected delivery shifted to 9/2.

If Sammy history repeats I should get my phone before all you early folk. :)

Doubtful as Samsung advertised a 24th delivery if you order by Monday

Why woudl samsung give the go ahead for the carriers to start shipping but Samsung doesn't want us to get them as early? What purpose does that serve them?

Look everyone, carriers are shipping already because they typically use slower methods and also have wireless customers to make happy above Samsung who is just selling you the phone. Sammy will ship it to you and get it here by release date if you have already ordered. It's on their site. Now I cant say for sure if they'll be able to do that for 100% of the orders, there are always outliers. My Note 8 came one business day after release and I missed it by going on vacation that Friday so I know it can be frustrating but the carriers who are shipping are also showing delivery dates of the 22nd or 23rd. If Samsung ships on say Monday then we all get them Tuesday or Wednesday. All I'm saying is be patient. You'll get yours when you're supposed to.

Samsung doesnt choose when carriers ship or not they simply deliver them a certain amount of devices, carriers usually choose to start shipping earlier because of the shipping methods they use. Also straight from samsung its from warehouses all over so its easier and faster even if they send at last minute. Usually carriers ship from their warehouse is Texas or something.

Preorder the 512GB on the 10th, still no change. I don’t know why people keep saying the 512 won’t get to you till September. People that preordered day 1 should get it by the 24th. The date was pushed a few days after probably because they ran out.

How can they promise that on 512's? They are pushing newly preordered unlocked 512's to late September.

Key point is newly pre-ordered since at check out they tell you aren't going to get it on 24th for the 512 GB ocean blue. But if you placed initially and got 24th means you were in that first batch. Purple and 128 GB you can still order and get 24th.

Blue you ask this question every Samsung launch and you know well that carrier orders early most times based on how times you have gone thru this

Good news. I just checked and I can no longer cancel the order! That means they're going to be moving soon! I mean at least packed up and ready for pick up!

I just bought a Galaxy S9 plus. I have 14 days in which i can return it. Do you think it would be worth returning and paying the $45 restocking fee.
