My big mistake was order with T Mobile , they messed up since I was preorder Note8 last year, called and they said sorry because they was accidently cancel my order . And then they placed my order again , guess what , backorder !!

Yikes, what day did your order it? Not that it should matter much, since the did promise delivery on the 24th. The problem is either a glitch, or that the carrier versions don't have enough stock

It does say for the most part shipping the week of september or whatever depending on carrier and stuff

Pre orders also have a quantity for them and they don't have unlimited supply. They made less of 512 GB or demand was higher than expected especially for the ocean blue. So whatever stock they had for 512 GB got claimed pretty soon once the pre-orders opened. So obviously if you pre order now you will get way later. Same thing happens for Apple, some models are in demand compared to other and they are way backordered if you don't pre-order as soon as it opens. You can try in store but not guaranteed they will have more of 512 GB stock. Atleast it gives you a banker order now and if you can find something in stock locally then you cancel the current order.
You should expect to receive the phone based on the delivery estimate you got at checkout. Guaranteed by 24th kind of confusing because some models (color/storage/carrier) may be out of stock compared to others, but you will know that when you check out before placing the order.

Anyway, if you're on Tmobile just go and order the unlocked one. Greggles pre ordered the 512gb unlocked and it's still on time. On tmobile the unlocked version will be just like if you had the tmobile version. Still get Wifi calling and HD calling.

OMG ! T Mobile sent out tracking with next day air. They will got it by Tuesday for sure.

Doesn't matter you got to check the delivery date at check out. Unlocked 512 GB ocean blue is also into September. If you want 512 GB and haven't ordered yet, but want it soon then you have to go for purple since that one still showed 24th delivery as of yesterday.
