by the way, I know I will preorder for her new iPhone next month, so twice a year for excited with new tech.

Looks like my separate order of the leather case has shipped! It says that it will arrive on the 24th, while the order with the phone will arrive on the 22nd. Just gonna have to be real careful, haha

got the text from samsung it said both the headphones and the phone shipped in the same box. so it sounds like everything is shipping together

In wouldn’t think to much into it. I thought in order to get the iconx gift we had to register on the Samsung website once we received the phone?

Samsung charged my credit card right when pre ordered

Well my package arrived in Memphis tonight! There is a flight for ft myers scheduled to arrive at 3am so it "might" make it on that flight.

It's very likely it will sit in ft. myers tomorrow though. When I ordered the s8 plus it got to Ft. Myers on this same flight and then sat there and delivered the next day. It could go on a flight tomorrow night. Either way still says 8/22 so likely Wed.

Btw bank account STILL not charged. Are we for sure this is the phone and not headphones? A free Note 9?

Unidays student discount + $200 trade in BUT the best discount was I was going to cancel my order to get the 128gb instead when I hit cancel order I was offered 10% off!

Man, that’s awesome! I would take an extra 10% off. I agree with Blues though. I think this is pretty telling that sales must be pretty low overall. I know the 512 GB blue is backordered, but I could still order a 512 GB violet one for delivery by Friday, and same with all the 128 GB versions.

I think seeing that these kind of deals have been offered from Sammy show that the demand isn’t as high as expected, except for maybe the 512 GB blue, which is the only version in “back order.” The demand for that one I think surprised Sammy. But I could still preorder a purple/pink 512GB this AM and get delivery by Friday so...

Well mine still shows that left Indianapolis last night at like 7:50 p.m. I don't have any updates this morning yet I was hoping to play hookie for work LOL but now it looks like I have to wait until tomorrow

Probably pink demand isn't that high I would imagine

This sucks lol. It seems just after the official release date they always suddenly have a better deal and i get burned pre ordering.

I just think they way under produced the 512. I'm thinking 128gb sales are really slacking right now.

I read not long ago those rumors about killing the note 9 if says were bad. Yikes. Now if they just combine it with the s model and release it like March next year then that be great. Excuse to buy a new phone sooner lol.

This is what I was trying to say when everyone was getting excited thinking tue delivery. At least they didn't hold onto it for days like the note7 or note 8 and keep us guessing

So I ordered my VZ 512GB Blue late last week. My current status on the Samsung Order page states that it's 'pre-ordered', and headphones 'In-Process'.

My question is since the status isn't 'Backordered', you guys think there's a chance they'll try to get it to me by 8/24? I think I ordered it when they still had the 'promise' on the website whereby if you ordered by 8/20 you'll get it by 8/24.
