Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I have an iPhone X and hate it. I've had every iPhone so I hope this time I can finally get away from apple.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and like it well enough, but Android allows users more control over the way their phones work, and I like that.

I'm on the T-Mobile iPhone Upgrade program, and I'm skipping it this year in favor of an unlocked Note9. I'm not a fan of Face ID, and since they're removing home buttons from all the new iPhones this year, I have no desire to "upgrade" to any of them.

I really like both platforms. The X is very good. I also like Android and usually have one or the other. Since I needed a new business line for my practice, this was the perfect opp to get both!!

I don't necessarily "hate" iPhones - shoot i've owned almost every iPhone since the beginning, including iPhone X. But - I've always went back to iPhone because of "imessage" and not even for myself but because everyone else gives me hell about it and so I do it mostly to please them. Finally one day I just told myself I was done with that, its my phone, I'm gonna have what I want. If people have an issue with SMS'ing me - they can hit me up on Messenger.

For me to go back to an iPhone they are really going to have to go back to actually innovating again. And come out with some real features.

Even more critically, software quality died along with him, too.

I was just chatting with a co-worker about the stupid change they made to Control Center toggles... when you tap WiFi or Bluetooth, it doesn't turn them off like it did in iOS 10 - it merely disables active connections to WiFi and Bluetooth devices. They could've added "shut off completely" to a 3D Touch menu, but they didn't.

The 2018 iPhones are dead in the water as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong I know it will sell like crazy because Apple Sheep and all but, this is definitely gonna be one of the weakest iPhone releases ever...like on par with iPhone 7 or maybe even worse idk.

I agree, Honestly I always switched back to iPhone because of imessage and Find my iPhone where I could track my family. Now I found Pulse SMS which allows you to text on Any device or web browser and Life 360 that tracks way better than Find my iPhone. Hell im currently moving my computers from imacs to Windows now. The only thing I will see having that is apple is the iPad pro. We have to face it in the tablet market Apple has that nailed down packed.

The next "professional" level computer we get in our house is probably going to be a Surface Studio. I have been watching videos on that machine (didnt pay much attention to it when it was released) and it looks like a total beast.
