No one should upgrade at all unless you're coming from a S10. Samsung decreased the battery. Decreased the Ram. While increasing the price.

Absolutely agree. I have the S21 Ultra. Makes no sense to upgrade.

MKBHD definitely has one and is testing it.

If you look at his One Plus 10 Pro impressions video, at 20 seconds into the video, he has a Galaxy S22 Ultra sitting face down on the bottom left of the screen. Could be a dummy unit he's just teasing the fans with, but I think it's real. Doubt he'd go to the effort to acquire a dummy unit just to put it in a video.

And yeah I'm leaning towards getting an S22 Ultra. I had the S21 Ultra and sold that for the Pixel 6 Pro, which has been nothing short of a nightmare, so I'll probably go back to Samsung with the S22 Ultra.

But someone implies there is an actual S22 in an enviro box....
So who knows. I'm sure he will get one long before any of us.

yeah, Him and the most popular Youtubers and influencers already have the S22 Ultra. They probably have had it for a week now.
They will test and have first thoughts prepared for pre-order days. then have their full reviews ready on the actual release day.
They are all under NDA and just can't speak about it yet

I bet he does, and will have a review next Wednesday right after the announcement. Would also guess there will be a teardown and breakage test within the week on Jerry Rig Everything by end of next week. As will Mrwhosetheboss and a few others.

I had read about that under some of the "rumors" that have been posted. However, if the latest early pricing is correct, it is only $50 to update to 12gb and 256gb. Guess we'll know for sure in a week.

I do remember that last year it was $50 to upgrade from 128 gb model to a 256 gb model. But both models had 12 gb of RAM. Would be sweet to just pay the $50 upgrade to get the extra storage and RAM.

Thinking the same; 50 sounds too low for the double upgrade (RAM/Memory) and would think this would cause more to up to the second level. However, for the common user; 8gb is ok for RAM. My 4XL has 6gb and never slowed down even with a couple apps open. But power users, like those coming from a Note they used for work, might need the extra 4gb RAM, but also a lot more storage.
Be interesting to see Samsung's sales broken down for the first few months of s22 ultra sales.

I'm still using my 10+, with 12gb of ram and 256gb. I don't use it for work.
I use it more then my laptop or tablet. And I hope the S22 ultra will have this option.
It's still working great, so still trying to decide, guess next week I will have too. lol
