These are supposed future Verizon prices....

Verizon Galaxy S22 Ultra pricing tipped by a rep along with first-hand impressions

https://www.phonearena.com/news/verizon-galaxy-s22-ultra-pricing-hand-on-impressions_id138245

  • $1199.99 - S22 Ultra 8GB/128GB
  • $1399.99 - S22 Ultra 12GB/256GB
  • $1449.99 - S22 Ultra 12GB/512GB

So it appears the $50 bump is from the 256GB to the 512GB version.
$200 increase to get the increase in RAM and storage.

I don't think Verizon will sell many of the $1400 12GB/256GB units.

Either settle for the $1200 entry level model or get the $1450 monster.
You might as well pay $50 to double your storage to 512.

Thanks for sharing these. As much as I want it to just be a $50 increase for the upgraded 256 gb of storage and 12 gb of RAM, there is absolutely no way Samsung will get away with upcharging customers $200 to go that route.

Based on all that I've read, along with my gut and past history, I think we will be looking at $1299.00 for the S22 Ultra model with 256 gb of storage and 12 gb of RAM.

I should clarify that these are the prices I feel Samsung will sell their unlocked models for. Carrier brands could be different story but not sure it makes sense for them to sell them at a higher price than Samsung is?

I also have a problem with those Verizon prices. However, I have not purchased a phone from Verizon for about six years, purchasing from other retailers or from the factory. I wonder if those prices from the article were misprinted and would be
$1199.99 - S22 Ultra 8GB/128GB
$1299.99 - S22 Ultra 12GB/256GB
$1349.99 - S22 Ultra 12GB/512GB

Makes more sense to me to charge 100 extra for an uptick in both RAM and memory and then just half for another uptick in memory. Also at 1299, it would only be a 50 buck increase from the 21 prices.

Regardless of what we say or hope, we will know in a few days. I prefer the 1249 but if it is 1299, it won't stop the sale for me. I sure don't need 512 in fact, 256 is an overkill. My two-years old Pixel is 128 and still has 44% available and that's with 3000 songs, hundreds of PDF docs; minimal photos since I download those on to my laptop about every two weeks, or actually spend time and delete the hundreds of dups.

Agree completely with this take.

Agree. $1400 for it is too much, especially with the deals for the Fold 3 like on Amazon for example.

If you have Tmobile or Metro I would go with unlocked. You get wifi calling enabled and all the works but without the carrier bloatware.

If you're not trading in you would be better to just get the unlocked version off Amazon. They always run deals that are a lot cheaper than samsung.com, especially if you can wait a few weeks after launch.

I mean, it might be a couple hundred cheaper for the US unlocked on Amazon versus samsung.cim Amazon has killer deals at times on the Fold 3, hundreds cheaper than samsung.com

Interesting, didn't know that about Amazon and the deals on there.

I've gone with the unlocked models directly from Samsung for my last three upgrades, utilizing their trade-in deal and getting the pre-order bonuses.

4.5 more days until we can pre-order!

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra storage options could depend on where you live

So from your recent link in another post it's not a $50 upgrade from 128GB to 256GB...

https://www.phonearena.com/news/gal...-confirms-base-1199-galaxy-s22-ultra_id138308

  • Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB: $1210 (likely $1199 in the U.S.)
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra 256GB: $1333 (likely $1299 in the U.S.)

I'll guess $1399 for the 512GB
And if you are in the US, no 1TB available.

That sounds more obvious; however, one of the articles I posted here stated the prices for the S22...rumored prices for sure.

https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s22-prices-leak-3100378/

  • $799 — Galaxy S21 (128GB)
  • $849 — Galaxy S21 (256GB)
  • $999 — Galaxy S21 Plus (128GB)
  • $1,049 — Galaxy S21 Plus (256GB)
  • $1,199 — Galaxy S21 Ultra (128GB)
  • $1,249 — Galaxy S21 Ultra (256GB)
  • $1,379 — Galaxy S21 Ultra (512GB)

ALL RUMORS till Samsung releases the official prices. However, the 100 bucks more makes more sense, IF the update is from 8gb RAM/128gb memory to 12gbRAM/256gb memory.

Of course I will be hoping for the 50 buck increase.

I'll probably be getting the 256gb just to have the 12gb ram. I have no use for 512gb or 1tb.

Anyone thinking of getting this one, with spen.
I'm interested in seeing just what the specs are gonna be, what they will give me for my Note 10+ and what freebies will offer if choose to preorder.

Anyone else?

No micro SD, no sale.
