samsung galaxy s3 fails on moving files from phone to sd card!

When I ever i try transferring files from my phone to sd it constantly says fail and it never did this before i have a 32gb SanDisk any ideas why???? If anyone can help please do

Perhaps the card is starting to fail? You should backup the contents of the SDCard to your PC or the cloud in case that's what is happening.

What app are you using to transfer files from the internal memory to the SDCard?

Can you still download files or take pictures (assuming that the target for both of those operations is the SDCard)?

I'm using the stock file manager app that's on the galaxy s3 i can download and view stuff as normal but just can't transfer from phone storage to sd

You can try using Settings -> Storage -> Unmount SD card and then Remount SD card (without having to actually take the SDCard out).

If that doesn't work then shut the phone down and physically remove/reinsert the SDCard.

If that doesn't help then copy everything off and use Settings -> Storage -> Format SD card, then put back whatever you need.

It worked when i unmounted the sd and mounted back then went back to the same problem maybe i need to format the damn thing

it works on my galaxy s3..i format 1st then restart then i try to move all i downloads movie. then it works.. thanks for the info
