Samsung Galaxy s6 radio app connect slow

[AC Question]

My new Samsung s6 phone when connecting to the NPR radio app is extremely slow. My Samsung s3 connects in 10 seconds. The s6 takes from 10 minutes to 2 hours. I've reset the device but nothing has changed.

Welcome to Android Central! Which NPR app is it? The NPR News app, or NPR One?

Try going to the App Manager, select the NPR app, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.
