Samsung Galaxy S6 Updated & now my daughter can't get into her phone

My daughter updated her phone yesterday and she said when it was done it asked her to enter a password, so she did. Now, today, she doesn't remember the password and can't access her phone. I have no idea what she even entered the password for, if it was to unlock her screen or what. How can I reset this to access her phone?

Use Android Device Manager to reset the password on the phone. You ill need to use the Google account that is associated with the phone in order to do this.

Hello!
I would try logging into your Google Account on a PC and then go to Android Device Manager (https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager). From there you can setup a new password and GPS/Locate your device.
