Samsung Galaxy S6 Wireless charger steal!

Guessing these Duracell power mats were made mainly for the iPhone 4 / 4s. Because I purchased a few for myself and co-workers and in cases they just do not work....anyone having same issues or maybe found a setting I am missing in the phone?

Cases are very thin an slim and our Tylt vu work flawlessly. Just concerned that while Powermat is the other side of Qi of wireless charging that these were made a long time ago and possible optimized for Apple and very small radius of charging?

Open to suggestions as I thought I saw pictures of it working on peoples phone but I think they were completely without a case. If so guess they are all going back to amazon as we are not in a position to go unprotected on our devices in store or outside it.

Mine works with a a case, I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, currently charging my phone now

I think it only works with TPU made cases. If the case is made of plastic or some other material on the back that is not TPU, it will probably not work...that is my guess

It's pretty much hit or miss. I have 3 duracell powermats 2 of them work fine with my Spigen crystal case and my obliq naked shield case (both are thin plastic cases). But 1 of them doesn't work with the cases. It seems that the powermats don't all have the same range. Which is a shame.

Hmmm....not liking what I'm reading here. I ordered two and a case, all of which will be here tomorrow. Hope it charges with the case on.

My S6 will NOT charge through the case on this charger. IT does work on my Samsung OEM charger.

My case it PT - Kickstand/Holster for Samsung Galaxy S 5 Cell Phones - Blue, Model: PT-GS5HK2L

Well I'm happy to report that even with a case on both of my Powermats charge my S6 just fine. The case is fairly minimal though. Also, one of them has one side that doesn't charge every time, but the other side charges every time, so not a big deal really.

I've got to weigh in on this charger. I ordered three of them. I have three different phone cases though two of them are very similar.

First off while I have this case on my phone:
amazonDOTcom/gp/product/B00QU4N5LG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It will not charge in any manner on this charger. That is to say I have tried every direction both screen up and screen down and all over the mat. It will not charge.

With this case on the result is exactly the same:
amazonDOTcom/gp/product/B00QU4N5LG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

However with this case on: amazonDOTcom/gp/product/B00QU4PCD0/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There is a very small "sweet-spot" that you must hit to get the phone to charge. It will charge in this spot just a slight bit slower than the OEM Samsung wireless charger that I got with the Best Buy pre-order promo. Specifically with the OEM wireless charger it will take 56 minutes to charge from 78% and with the Duracell it says it will take 58 minutes from 78%.

Since the first case I linked is the best looking case I've seen for this phone I'll likely be returning the three of these Duracell chargers I bought. Pretty disappointing.

I have an older 3 device Powermat before Duracell purchased the Powermat brand. My older Powermat will charge the phone but now has developed an issue. The Powermat makes a connection sound when a device is placed on the mat and it starts charging. It also makes a disconnection sound when the device is removed. The other night around 4 AM the Powermat woke me up playing it's connection then disconnection sound. The phone showed a 98% charge and the wireless charging kept cycling from on to off. The night before it did not seem to do this, unless I just didn't hear it doing it. I tried it during the day yesterday and it did the same thing. It didn't matter if the phone was powered-down or up while charging. Has anyone had with their Duracell Powermats? I'm just wondering if it's because of the Powermat or the phone itself. Thanks.
