Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Bluetooth AVRCP Works Again!

Just got my S7 Edge this past Thursday (Coming from a S6 Edge+), and I'm ecstatic that music information is being transferred again over bluetooth. Tested with Spotify and Samsung's own music app in a 2015 Honda Civic.

Drove me nuts that my older phones had no issue, but my old Note 4 and S6 Edge+ would never broadcast song information over bluetooth.

So glad it is working again.

I didn't have this issue with my s6 in my Mercedes but glad to hear this is working for you. My droid turbo had issues and it use to drive me nuts!

Really? Bummer! I'm coming from a note 5. No music info shown via bluetooth on my 2015 Honda Pilot. So maybe it's the car.

I can almost 100% sure that I've had this for a while, even on older phones and 100% my newer phones all displayed audio info fine over Bluetooth

My note 2 and s5 delivered song info but my note edge and wife's note 4 did not. Hoping it comes back with the s7 as well!

This is great info!!! My iPhone 6s Plus showed info on my 2016 Mustang GT with Sync 3 so I was afraid my new 7 Edge wouldn't.

I just got an S7 Edge and, unfortunately, AVRCP does not work correctly with the head unit in my 2012 Honda Civic Si - it shows only the phone name. I previously had a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD (running Android 4.4.2) which AVRCP worked just fine, showing title, artist, etc.
