Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - Find my mobile not available?

Yes Samsung's Find My Mobile will allow you to set the phone in Ultra-low power mode and extend the life on battery till you can locate it. Android Device Manager is not able to do this.

Also, the ability to force gps to turn-on is available in Find My Mobile and not ADM, too the best of my knowledge

cool features but the gps is way off.. I use the google version of find my phone and its 30-40ft area.. when I used sammy its a few blocks off where my phone is.

I went to chat support on findmymobile.Samsung.com. AMAZINGLY they say that the S7 IS NOT SUPPORTED in findmymobile. Thanks Samsung. Is this your flagship phone?????????????:(

I read something about knox being about to do this

Re: Find my mobile not available?

One reason I switched to find my mobile, that I found out recently, is even if you have location turned off on the phone, if you hit locate device on find my mobile, it'll switch the phone location on and determine it's location for you. You also have the option of locking Samsung Pay.

i tried this, but if my location its off..it wont find it.

Has anyone found a solution (or App) that will turn on GPS remotely so we can find a lost S7 (if I lose it)?

Thanks!

I'm not able to get this to work either? I'm signed in to my Samsung acount and on the website it shows my device, but it doesn't show as connected. The Help tutorial says to go to Main Menu>Setting>Security>Remote Controls to enable. I'm not finding that anywhere in the S7 menus. Any ideas?
I found mine in the Google settings & try from another cell phone or home comouter it should work

Can you give more specifics? I thought Verizon had turned this feature off. I'm not sure how you got it to work....
