Then move whatever you download to your microsd card, as your device will fill up quickly with these large video files. You can use your native file manager.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 32 GB is not available .. Samsung has turned into a monopolistic company over the last years that does not listen to its consumers .. First it was the confusing Geo Location restricted devices which though claimed samsung customer support also could not unlock .. now releasing just a 16GB version of a device which would mandate an upgrade few months down the line... Evident results are Samsung losing its once established Market Leader Status (4rth Position in China for Q4 2014) .. And Samsung Offering Flat 100 Euro Cashback on Galaxy Tab S devices in Germany (purchases between 2015-01-28 bis 2015-02-15) .. Would be better if they would listen to consumers rather than resorting to desperate measures later...

They're out there. I just sold one and bought another. They are usually the Korean versions or Australian.

I am in Germany and here it is simply not available .. I have tried to talk to the authorized re-sellers but even they are also unable to help .. so the 32GB model availability is a mystery ..

Look on the Best Buy website. It's available now at Best Buy exclusively. No other vendor that I looked at had it, except Best Buy. And the good news is it's only another $50, I believe, to double your space.

Lol ? Then use micro sd cards then ...

And as far as them acting desperate how ? It's almost a year old in what 3-4 months from now ? I expect they trying to now move their inventory so that to get ready to make a refresh soon

Like others have said, at Best Buy, they are available for only $50 more than the 16 gb version. It's just that Best Buy has the exclusive contract to sell them in the US. If I hadn't mis-read a description on New Egg's website, and looked closer to Best Buy's tablets, I would have found it, and paid out the extra $$ for the 32 bit version so I don't have to worry about what goes onto the SD card, etc.

With 16 GB atleast 5-6 GB is used up by the OS + Samsung Bloatware. So only 10 GB space is available for User Installations. The additional SD card does not help in all cases as many Apps are restricted to the Internal Storage Installation. So if you have an Offline Map application it can easily download offline maps (e.g 4-5 GB).

I actually read an article, well a couple, several months ago, that said the difference between UHD and 1080 your eyes wouldn't be able to register it. Well, it was more like the current standard for HD is as high as the human eye can register a change, so while there may be a difference in UHD and HD, the human eye cannot register or recognize it.

I have a question about rooting it. Would rooting it violate the warranty on it? I'm actually not entirely sure I will need the 16 gb on my SD card, I only used 12 gb on my 32 gb Nexus, but I'm not sure about the difference in memory on the bloatware. I'm currently only using a negligible amount of memory, but I also haven't loaded on even half of my e-books yet, just my Barnes and Noble books.

Watch a few YouTube videos on the device in 1080p vs 1440p resolution and then decide which resolution you prefer.

I just pickedup a 32gb on ebay for $359.99 it was an open box that was purcahsed from bestbuy on march 1st had all the geeksquad inspection paperwork with it. It was a buy now for $389.99 but after i bought told the guy they selling the open/refurbished 16gb for $319 at bestbuy and 32gb is only $50 more so he issued me a $30 refund. I love this tablet so much easier to carry them note 10.1 2014 might end up selling that soon barely used the spen.
