Samsung M31 Turning off Hotspot

Hi,

My iPad is dependent on my phone's hotspot and I never had a problem with my Samsung J5 2016 (Android 6) turning itself off. I had it on hotspot 'Always On' and it stayed on.

I now have the Samsung M31 (Android 10) on hotspot 'Always On' but it keeps swapping to Wi-Fi, which does not work at all for me.

Does anyone know of an additional setting I need to tweak?

Any help appreciated.

Is this happening while the phone's screen is still on, or does it always happen when the screen goes to sleep?

Toggle the wifi off ?
