Samsung Note Problems after 4.4.2 update, can I get some help with a fix?

Samsung Note Problems after 4.4.2 update

My phone did an automatic update on 01-14-2016. Shows that I'm running 4.4.2 and since the 14th update here are the following problems.
1) Text messages are delayed when sent and received.
2) Both Facebook app and Messenger showing messages/or notifications. But nothing is their.
3) Bluetooth is no longer connecting
4) Google playstore app downloads are left hanging
5) Battery draining much faster than normal

I'm sure I have more problems, but I'm getting discouraged and stopped looking. I hope someone here can help me out.

Try clearing cache partition by powering off your phone, press volume up+home button+ power button at the same time for +-10 sec. Using the volume button, navigate to wipe cache partition and press it with power button then reboot your device.

Wiping cache partition will not delete any of your phone's data so dont be afraid.

If issues still present, it is recommended for you to do a factory reset to your phone.

A wipe cache partition is recommended to be done after every minor updates.
While factory reset is recommended after major updates.
