Does the cover extend above and around the screen?

No it doesnt. The case does wrap/snap up over the top edge of the silver ring around my white S3, but because the case is so thin, when it is layed face down the screen still touches the surface. I am running a screen protector with this case so not to worried about it. But truthfully with this case and screen protection film, there is almost NO detection of any added bulk at all. Easy to pull on and off as well.

My slim covers just came today for my Pebble Blue. I have to say, this is the slimmest case I've ever seen for a phone. Plus the fact that it still fits in the desktop charger with the case on is a big win in my book.

I ordered a pack. I used my Evo 4G without a case, but the more I use this phone the more slippery it seems to get so I think one of these will do nicely.

Don't know about the stores heck even Samsung's site was out of stock when I looked.

I ordered them from Mobilefun for $19.99 so basically $10 a piece

The two "white/clear" cases are both "white/clear" even though one looks blue per the website.

Thank you so much for this! I ordered them in blue for my lovely blue SGS3 and can't wait to get them. I am so picky about cases and love the naked look so this looks perfect.

Does this case help a lot with the grip? I just wish the phone didn't feel like a thin slippery bar of soap. I have a matte black Diztronic TPU case on my white S3 right now, but I wouldn't mind something a little thinner if the grip is just as good.
