Samsung told me I can't change my default navigation app!?!?!

I just got off the phone with Samsung. I asked them "How do I set Waze as my default navigation app instead of using Google Maps on my Galaxy S8?"

Their answer was "You can't do That"

This is very frustrating. I switched from Apple to android to get away from these type of restrictions.

Does anyone have a workaround?

I replied to your other thread. Honestly this is weird because setting the default works on my S7e.
