Same received date here, I'll post back with any update. Did this with my S7E last Spring to get the S9 and no issues then. I'm assuming a lot of people took advantage of the deal..

So they received my trade in on the 13th, and just received an email on the 26th that my trade in was successful.

Just got my email this morning as well and so did my buddy. They must have done a lot all at once lol.
However the email I got was for my girlfriends trade in and not mine yet. They received both phones the same day which is odd.
What is even more odd if her trade in phone actually had some scratches on her screen so I was afraid they were gonna knock some value off. They didn't which is great! On the other hand, my phone was in mint condition but no email yet haha.

Email received this morning and updated on their order site, no issues trade-in was successful. So received on their end on 3/18 and approved on 3/27 if that helps...

Got my email this morning. Trade in was successful. They got the phone from on the 19th, approved 27th.

My pristine S8+ got there yesterday and I'm glad to see everyone posting good results on their trade ins here. The Samsung forums have some very mad people on there. Apparently there are some cases of pristine phones being rejected for cracked screens etc. when they weren't shipped to them that way. Much like some of the issues in the past. I almost didn't send mine until I read these threads, now I'm nervous again after reading the new posts on the Samsung forums. lol!

I rolled the dice on Samsung this time, I snuck thru the cracks and everything went good. I had to do an exchange and dealing with Samsung was a pain as to be expected, fortunately I got Samsung premium care, which is asurion, and they exchanged the phone with a new phone and no deductible. I don't think I'll buy another thru Samsung, it's not worth the risk of having to deal with Samsung support if there is an issue. If I do buy thru Samsung direct again I'll definitely get the Samsung care premium.

I was so nervous about doing the trade in through Samsung after reading all the negative reviews saying it was a scam. It was my first time going through Samsung. But I'm glad I did. I got my email today stating they accepted my phone. My return was delivered to them on the 21st. Now I'm just waiting for my buds.
