Samsung will allow Bixby button to be disabled again

While this article is horribly written and misleading, the gist of it seems to be that Samsung will give us back the option to disable Bixby button - or at least set it to Long-Press only.

They should be embarrassed by the article I linked. It shows a complete lack of understanding of what they are writing about. I agree, their articles - at least pertaining to mobile subjects - are garbage.

Just use bxActions to remap or disable. Worked on Note 8 for me and still works on Note 9.

I just hope that when they update Bixby to allow us to disable it, they don't break BxActions. Now that I've set it up, I'm should by that buttons functionality. I'd hate to lose it due to Samsung updating Bixby.

Yes, we know it can be done already with third party apps. Personally, I just turn it all off with Package Disabler. But some like to scale it back with built in settings to minimize false activation.
