I have Facebook HTC Sense installed on my phone, and it links the contacts saved on my phone with those that have Facebook profiles (well, those that have phone numbers saved in their Facebook profiles). I really love this feature because it allows me to view all my contacts, on my phone and off, with one simple click.
Last night, however, I received a text from someone that was NOT a contact on my phone. They were, however, a Facebook friend of mine... a Facebook friend that had their phone number saved in their profile. So, when I received the text it showed up as his name. Great! But then i went to save this individual to my phone so it'll since with my desktop client/Gmail, but I can't figure out how. There's no easy way to do it... not without writing down everything on a piece of paper and inputting it myself.
Does anybody know if there's a better way to do this???
