scare of updating Samsung s7 edge fd to f

hello i am from pk i bought Samsung s7 edge g935fd but its not dual sim mean the sittings says fd and in sittings it shows two imeis but others apps and back glass says its g935f actually android marshmallow 6.0.1 is already installed but the device is custom and imei is changed and can not be updated officially what if i install nougat 7 g935f firmware manually by odin is that will risky or not i mean the imei and baseband will remain safe...please answer...

Does it have 2 SIM slots, and are they both working? If yes, flashing the FD firmware should work. (The firmware in it could be corrupt.) If it doesn't work in both slots, or it doesn't have 2 slots (it would have one for the SIM card and the second for the SD card if ir was the F), I'd return it. The FD costs more than the F, so if you paid for an FD, you were cheated.
