Screen dimming and turning off during video

I noticed that my screen will time out while watching videos on Facebook. Shouldn't the video playing keep the screen on? I tested this with watching videos in the gallery, Chrome, and YouTube and the screen will stay on like it should. It's only Facebook. I had my friend test it with her Note 5, and her screen stays on. What gives? Is this a setting I'm overlooking?

I've had this happen several times. Do you have smart stay enabled?

Turn on smart stay. Works for me

Turning on smart stay solved it. Still doesn't make sense though, idk why it would only be within Facebook...
