Screen flickers on videos.

My recently-purchased 3 week old Samsung Galaxy Tab A has experienced a problem wherein every time I attempt to stream video from either the NBA app or the DAZN app, my video rapidly blinks or flickers between the video and pitch black similar to a strobe light. I haven't experienced the same issue with the YouTube app, but given that these issues started at roughly the same time for both apps, I believe it to be a tablet issue rather than an app functionality issue. My tablet has been fully up to date. I've done maintenance run-throughs on the tablet through the "Settings" app on my tablet. Beyond this issue, my tablet is perfectly functional. Can someone help me?
