I was looking forward to this being my biking companion displaying time, notifications and GPS info. Is there a way to force the watch to remain on full brightness while I'm riding? I don't much care about battery drain since I can pop it back on the charging stand after I'm home.

There is an app called Flaunt which will keep the display active for 30 minutes.

There is app specifically designed for cyclists called Always On Speed. I don't know if it's customizable, but between that and Flaunt, you should be able to get what your want.

I appreciate the suggestions, but a search for Flaunt comes up empty. Always On Speed looks promising, but I've found that many S2 apps don't work on the S3.
