Screen lock issue; can't wait til Sunday!

Ever since my little failed ICS fiasco on Friday and then the factory reset, I am having all kinds of trouble with my screen lock.

I noticed yesterday morning that the screen lock password that had been set was no longer set. So, I set it again. Just a few mintues ago I noticed again that it was not set, so I set it once more. However, now my only options are to have it lock immediately or after one minute.

What the heck!? I certainly cannot not afford to not have it locked, but what a royal pain in the neck to have to unlock after just one mninute. Yesterday I had the option of going all the way to 15 minutes. Today, gone!

Oh Sunday .... get here already!!

It's easy peasy...just flashed ics to mine this morning. Takes a bit of time, but not too bad. So far I have not had the problem of 4g dropping out on me, fingers crossed.

Only problem I have encountered is that I am unable to access my bank account online. It's like I have a setting bad that won't allow the security access...

I worked on getting that ICS flash to work for like four hours last Friday. Sooooooo, Pizzadue, Major Payne and I are going to Oovoo it up a bit on Sunday and get that flash to work.

Once I really studied the instructions, it did seem really easy. But for some reason the phone would not find the file. With Oovoo, the guys will be able to look at my phone and see what the heck I am not doing correctly.

Oh, by the way, I think it the phone locator app that was causing my issue. I wrote to them and they told me where to change the setting. Now it seems to be working normally again.

I simply downloaded from my phone. Used app root explorer to go find file and rename it then moved to root of ext ed card. Then booted into hboot and the phone did the rest itself.

That was basically what I was expecting my phone to do as well, but it wasn't finding the file. I am very hopeful that this will all be worked out by Sunday. I had orinally moved the file over from my computer and renamed it. In preparation for Sunday, I deleted the old file and I have re-downloaded the file right from my phone. It is 603.63 MBs, sitting on the sd card and is named PH98IMG.zip

Skater if it's on /sd_ext/ and it's named what you are named then you are as ready as you can be and will only have to boot to hboot..

In Astro File Manager it is on /mnt/sdcard
In ES File Explorer it is on /sdcard/

Actually, I don't even remember renaming the file I downloaded straight from the phone. When I hard press the file, I see it named PH98IMG.zip

Should I move it somewhere?

Moved it to the ext_sd card. That's the actual sd card, sd card is the internal storage. Also, I think you need to take the. . zip off the end. Long press on it in es and go to properties. The name should be ph98img no zip at the end. The extension on that same screen should be . zip. Good luck.
