how much of an improvement did you see after performing the reset? i will be doing it this weekend, hopefully it helps.

Okay, what just happened? How did I get this much?

Basically I had medium use on it for the entire time, barring my classes and natural time of sleep. Even managed to watch a few flash movies on it. To be honest, it's scary.

wow, what exactly happens when a factory reset is done? why such a drastic change? did you reload everything you had on it before you performed the reset?

there are a few things i haven't reloaded yet as i want to test them one at a time. i didn't sign into my htc hub account, i haven't added google currents or the flipboard apk back yet.

This thread drives me nuts. I'm lucky to get 10 hours before phone shuts down. Guess I will try the factory reset, though I'm not sure why it would help

yeah. ?there's no way. ?that's why it shows that i have 62% remaining after over 12 hours off charger and ?2.5 hours screen on time, right? ?i have already posted pictures. the only one i'm missing is the over 5 hours screen on time because that post was just a recap from the same charging cycle as my previous shots.

I get this from about 1 hour screen time and I think the standby time on this thing is really quite good. I would like to do a heavy use test now.

thats great...but you are in an extremely small minority. those are the kind of numbers you would get with data turned off. must have a freak battery.

bro- relax, all I am saying is that nobody else is getting numbers like that...so obviously you have a freak battery or are doing something we aren't. simple right...if everybody was getting battery life like that it wouldn't be suspect at all...truth is, most people are in my boat and getting around 3+- hours of screen on time, which is phenomenal in its own right. stop taking offense, im not calling you a liar, but you are clearly a statistical outlier when it comes to battery life on the One X- basically, we all can't expect to get numbers like that even though you are.

Read through the thread. I was only getting 12 hours total until I did a hard reset.

I was getting 4+ hours before I was dipping below 20% battery left. I took it back due to the inconsistent battery life. I may go and get it again and see if the hard reset and other suggestions do the trick.
