Screenshots are opening with ES Image Browser!

Edit: I've sorted things and stopped some ES permissions now.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+

My screenshots have always opened in Gallery, but today, and I haven't gone near any settings, they open in ES Image Browser, where they cannot be edited.

How do I revert these settings please?

Remove ES completely. I used to use it, liked it even, then when it updated and had stuff from Cheetah Mobile (one of the most despised Android developers) bundled with it I removed it and switched to Solid Explorer.

Try going to settings. Apps. ES Image Browser.

See if there's anything for "set as default".

If there is click on it and clear it.

I would much prefer the advice given by Hallux - get rid!

Although you have to pay for SE after the free trial, it's worth every penny.

Yeah I got of mines too. Sad that the app was great before.


Figured give another solution since OP might come into the same issue with another app.
