sd card installed correctly?

hi,
Im not sure about my SD card. I got a 32 gig for my x and switched to the thunderbolt. I prefer the thunderbolt..

I was told the bolt has 32 gig already on it... and I put in my 32 gig microsd card but when I to go view my music, it doesnt see any..yet when its booting up it says prepping sd card..

how can I tell if the card is actually in correctly?

Go into Settings > SD & phone storage > all your SD Card stuff is there... Total Space, Available Space, etc.
