SD card unexpectedly removed mount a new card

This message constantly rears its ugly head:

"SD card unexpectedly removed insert new card". Also "mount" alert message too.

Have done the format of the 16 gb Samsung micro sd card.

What can I do next?

Welcome back! It may be that the SD card is failing or corrupt. Try a different card and see if that problem persists. Before you remove the card from the phone, make sure you go to Settings>Storage and tap Unmount. While you're at it, insert the old card into your computer and backup all of your important data, just in case the card is failing.

There are so so many threads on this site seeking to fix the same problem.

I have just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S4. I purchased a new SD card to go with it. Kingston "Class 3". So this is top quality.

I started getting the same message. And I switched to my old card and it was still happening.

It is not the card (usually).

I found that it was Google Play Services, Google Maps and GPS and Location services that was causing the problem. Because when I reset Google Play Services (undone the upgrade) and the same for Google maps it stopped doing it. I also changed my location settings to the basic settings there are just in case.

Google Play Services is more problems than a help.
