Seeming lack of interest for the LG G4?

Feels like there is more interest in the G4 pre launch then the G2 and G3 had

Been in many, driven quite a few...agree 100%

I blame my parents.(or my ancestors) I'm too tall to fit in a proper Porsche.(IMHO, the 911 is the only "proper" Porsche.... the SUV and sedans are $@#$@%@#R) Even in the current 2015 911, with the seats at the lowest position, I have to tilt my head down two inches. I guess the problem can be easily avoided if I live in warmer climates and buy the cabriolet.(keep the top down 365/24/7) :) Unfortunately, I live in Maine and the weather doesn't get that warm. :(

Re: Seeming lack of interest?

got to look at several things, first, it isnt out yet, we have no pricing or release date. next is, the s6 sold well from what i understand, and most people cannot afford to buy multiple phones at all, much less multiple brand new hot off the shelf phones, just any of them 2 would run close to $1400, that is a very hard thing for the majority to do. some will, the vast most wont. so all of those that have the s6 will be bashing the g4 cause they are stuck with the early adoption. and the flip side of that, the satisfied customers, i doubt even 1/3 of s6 owners are going to be unhappy with the phone they have.

add to that all of the people who also have gotten m9's or other phones of recent release, it isnt surprising that the g4 isnt getting as much buzz, the number of people who are interested would be less then after the long drought that the s6 quenched

another thing is that LG(at least in the US) appears to have a very limited marketing budget. their unveiling of the G4 looked so amateurish, compared to Samsung and Apple(duh!), it was almost as if LG was introducing a new kitchen blender or kitchen knives. the old saying is true... it takes money to make money. The G4 is a great phone, but I'm afraid the awful marketing is not going to sell it. At least they should try to make the CNN and Bloomberg reporters say the name LG correctly. It's not "algae" G4... it L G G 4.
