Select input method?

Is there anyway to get rid of this? It's kind of annoying when I'm typing.

settings>language and input - you can set defaults there

Do you mean the notificiation bar item that pops up OP? I find that annoying too if so.

Yes when I'm typing anything it pops up for me.
