setting wallpaper from a picture (sizing issue)

i sized my favorite pic to 854x480 in order to set as wallpaper. when i try to set it, it gives me a cropping box which wont allow me to use the full picture. anyone know why or how i can just set this picture uncropped as the wallpaper?

Pull on one side of the box and it will expand to encompass the entire picture; then save/apply.

That usually happens when the pic resolution doesn't match the phone's default resolution...perhaps you made it 480x854 instead?

Wallaper images need to be 854 tall by 960 wide to account for the multiple home screens
