Is that version of flipz rom for froyo? If so then i think we will update all themes to run on froyo rom,if thats 2.1,then the deodex version should work on it.

I just updated my Evo to the 2.2 AC (Froyo) Rom. I tried to flash the Clear theme after upgrading and it causes my phone not to boot. So I re-flashed the 2.2 ROM and all is well, but without the Clear Theme.

Are the themes developed in the Thread going to be updated to work on 2.2?

I know this has been asked before.....Is anyone going to write up a tutorial on creating new themes? Everyone appreciates the hard work that Breezy and Sprintgirl have put into fulfilling peoples theme requests, BUT it seems like a lot more cool themes would be created if this information was disseminated to the masses......

I don't think this was mentioned. Sorry if it has been, I did a quick scan of this thread to make sure. Just wanted to give you the heads up that the stadium in the background of the Atlanta Braves theme is actually PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

8 on is froyo. 7up is odexed unless there marked with a D then there deodexed.

Ok so....yes...it has been a while and I am working on converting some of the themes. I am having some minor glitches with some of the apk's I am using. Just working out the bugs so we can deliver a quality product.

Also, the first post details how the themes are organized. The first 7 posts are for ANDROID 2.1 and the Deodex versions are marked with the letter D. Don't be suprised however if you see these disappear soon now that 2.2 is rooted. Going forward there will be no reason for 2.1 info. However, I have occasionally purchased phones "late" and before jumping in to the latest software version wanted to customize the "stock version" so....I am undecided. I guess we will wait to see if the root process for 2.1 disappears.

Post 8 is the start of ANDROID 2.2 FROYO themes. Themes and Converted existing themes are coming soon! I appreciate your patience and devotion to SGBZ!!! Pleasing you pleases us......Oh wait isn't that someone else's saying? Anyway, stay tuned more beautification soon to come!

I browsed through most of the discussion here so if my questions are answered and I missed it or didn't understand it, I apologize.
1) When it comes to requesting themes, how much time/effort does it take? I would love to create a bounty for a Red Wings theme (you know, pay for it), but I suspect that the effort involved versus the money I can afford would make said payment more of a donation than actual merit pay for work valuable work.
2) I've read about Deodexing and while I understand on some level that it has to do with changing files in the apk (whatever an apk is) so that changes can be easily made, I don't really know how to think about this. Is the ROM what I need to check for being Deodexed in addition to the theme? If so, is CM deodexed? Do I understand correctly that the point of Deodexing is to make it so that different pieces of the theme can be plugged into the system easily (font colors, etc...)?
3 Finally, should any deodexed rom more or less accept a theme without too many problems? Since Roms change the shape and layout of some things I wonder if it works as seamlessly as I hope/think?

Again, sorry for the noobery. I'm working on it. Honest.

1) I will get to a hockey theme as soon as i can,Im in the process of converting the existing themes to 2.2.If you feel like donating then hit Beezy420 link.

2)You need to check and make sure the rom is deodex.As for CM it's deodex but the themes i do are for sense roms and CM doesn't have sense,so the themes won't work and if flashed will more than likely lead to issues.

3)This kind of goes with answer 2. If its a sense rom then there should be no issues.As all sense roms have the same folder set up for the apks that get changed for themes.
