Looks almost like Medical Electronics... I serviced Medical Imaging Equipment for 33 years! Saw LOTS of changes over those years...

I used to service medical electronics
Relatively short period though, then went looking for oil offshore.
Now look after consumer imaging for Xerox. But like a lot of guys, I got into the IT side. Only get the tools out on occasion now if it's a problem machine.

Yeah I need a better lens but can't get one right now. I have a protrait lens 50mm ...I had an 18/140 Nikkor ...hoping to get that lens again but contemplating upgrading my camera next year.

On my DSLR I used to shoot pretty much exclusively with my 50mm prime. Loved that lens. Meant a lot of zooming using my feet, but learnt lots using it.

Yes, I know what you mean. I have a Sony RX1R II, which has a really nice 35mm lens, only. It's a nice simple setup that really forces you to think about composition.

the eyelashes have it.

Those eyelashes, which my granddaughter, almost 8 and hard to photograph without her making awful faces, has them, and they came directly from my son-in-law. The little guy is a ham, so I photograph him more than anyone else.

We call these stink bugs but I think it's some kind of beetle of some kind and he's on the outside of the screen.
