She's in my hands!!!!

A toggle gets moved less than an inch down the screen and you think Verizon is screwing you? Wow.... Now if they had removed some sort of functionality, maybe I could understand.

Well it kind of is a functionality, you can't turn on/off wi-fi directly from the notifications screen now. Rather you have to click on the shortcut to the wi-fi settings and turn it off from there. It's not a big deal, but it's something small that I often use. The point I was trying to make is that Verizon always finds little things to change and annoy consumers. All other carriers have the same set of toggles except Verizon.

It's not a dealbreaker, but it is something I use often so it would be nice to have the actual toggle in the notifications area.

There has to be a reason why they changed the WiFi toggle. I know Verizon doesn't just sit and think of ways to make things suck there has to be a reason just wished we knew. But I bet we do before long.

I'm pretty sure they haves department called "Let's annoy our customers department"
They had to change something in the end, but the bloatware seems like it isn't as bad as previous android phones.

Either it's their workaround since the toggle has had some issues on other S3s, or Verizon wants to keep their network unloaded and the best way to do that is keep a big fugly constant notification in your face to remind you to jump on WiFi whenever you can

Wife just told me the phone has arrived. Unfortunately I'm still at work. Just 4 more hours!

Another option is that those of us with unlimited are not the only purchasers of this phone. There will be many with the limited plans. What better way to drive up profits than to help people reach their data limits each month.

For those talking about the WiFi toggle.

Can you edit what toggles you have available in the power widget like you can with CM7?

I would be surprised if that is crippled in this case, and would possibly be a complaint that needs to be directed at Samsung instead of Verizon.

Finally got mine this morning. I must say, she was b*tch to activate. Took over an hour to activate. Kept getting errors unable to activate. when online to activate, the VZ network went down. This was like pulling teeth. Finally activated now. The S3 is one bad b*tch without the Niki Minaj cakes. This phone will hold me down for 2 years or more.

You mean your wife will not bring it to your jobsite?

Enjoy it when you get home! ;)

Lol, I'm 30 miles away. I am tempted to leave early. But I don't want to use up my comp time.
The plan is to go home and take a shower, eat and then lay up on sofa with the central air on blast and play with my new toy!

Fedex said it would arrive by 3pm. Doorbell Rand at 2:59! Just unboxed it. Getting ready to turn it on

For those of you coming from a Moto phone...

If you were like me with an X, I'm sure you probably invested in multiple chargers for here and there. I would like to know if they are compatible with the GS3. I ask because My wife has a GS2 and one of my daughters have a Samsung Dart and at least 3 of my after market chargers will not fit their phones. Mostly the chargers with the "L" shaped mini usb. Also I have one with more rubber covering around the mini usb which does not allow the mini USB to sit all the way into the their phones. And on a similar note, if they fit, do they work? When my boss went from his X to a Maxx, his original X charger worked fine but his after market at work did not. PC didn't even recognize the Maxx plugged in. Hopefully no difference in car chargers as well.

Just curious as to how much more I will be spending in accessories this time around...

Motorola chargers work fantastic with Samsung phones. This includes the car charger as well.

I agree. Looks like a confusing way to keep those on shared plans using up their data so they can charge them overage fees for that data. This is definitely not a Samsung change, but a Verizon one. Does anyone know if Verizon removed the 3G option from the settings menu? That is another trick to force more data use. They did that on the Razr Maxx ICS update.

To everyone switching from the razor, the battery life is a lot better. I am down 3% compared to my usual 10-15

Wouldn't it be the opposite thinking? They have an annoying wifi notification there ALL the time staring you in the face. If I saw that (which basically would be every time I'd get a notification), I'd think.. "oh, I should check if I have wifi here now"

I assume you mean the regular RAZR. If so, I have one and this good news. Now that I think about it....I shoulda just hung on to my Droid X1 till now...

Like my RAZR....but the newer lte hardware and newer chip was probably worth waiting for. Although...by the time Moto drops a new phone...it will be almost a year since I had my RAZR.
