Shipping notification....Who's first?

This is all making me (even more) psychotic - every time I see that I have new gmail, I drop whatever I'm doing to check. When it's not a shipping notice from Sprint, it breaks my heart. Over and over and over again.

Wow, I probably should get out of the house for a bit...:p

Same here and getting out the house won't do any good lol I'm pretty sue you'll take you're phone with you lol

Sent from my HTC .....oh wait its stuck at customs

I'm willing to bet that when our status pages update tonight @11:00PMCT we will all (pre-orders) have our tracking #s along with our confirmation of shipping.

do status pages update every night at 11 or something?

No, the screen shot on ISN shows delivery is expected by the 24th.
.

Sure, many threads say many things so lets just agree that its to be sent out soon.

So it was cleared yesterday, then the phones have to be delivered to Sprint for distribution, then they get distributed.

I'm guessing this is more than a 1 day process. Remember they dont ship from the custom's warehouse to us. They must hit Sprints hands then our's so really its a 2 stage process for shipping. Final delivery from htc to Sprint, then to us.

I can handle a few day's for this process

But I thought ISN mentioned there was an entire area in the Sprint section of the UPS hub in Kentucky that was a "foreign trade" zone and that all of the pre-orders were in there...essentially held hostage to the Customs situation..?

It was confirmed by ISN last week that the Customs Holding Area is actually inside the UPS warehouse that Sprint ships from. So its literally a travel of a few dozen feet from Customs to the planes that will be bringing the customers the goods.

Yes and other was reported that they were already packed for distribution meaning sprint doesn't need any further prep. I believe we will see many delivered tomorrow. Perhaps sprint is trying to under promise and over deliver, as ISN mentioned in an earlier post.

Eh maybe not for the people hitting f5 every 10 seconds waiting for news, but for the public a 6 day resolve of a customs hold up when many were estimating 3 weeks or more is fairly impressive. Yes their lack of communication is ridiculous in my opinion.

I would assume the general public is even worse off. Look at all the disinformation that every single person who calls Best Buy or any other retailer is getting. Most people are being told the phone isn't coming out till August or July. That is not the kind of thing that is going to help sales. Competition is tight from all sides and Sprint should be doing their hardest to make sure everyone is on the same page and knows what is going on.

What do we get instead? Absolutely nothing, at all, when it comes to the majority of customers. It's just..unfathomable, why they would operate this way. It's not like they haven't received and shipped a phone launch before, they know the timing of things once it leaves customs.

Looks like ISN has been cut out of the information loop now too. Maybe it wasn't a coincidence that the afternoon call was rescheduled to a time when ISN could not attend.

If not, how pathetic is it that even someone in ISN's position can't get ANY information about the launch that is supposedly only two days away.

What kind of person continues to work for a company like that?

FYI, the full tracking number from that is 1ZE79525NY92387370

Believe me, I'm not here trying to troll.

I will be here apologizing if it is not my phone, just posting what I found.

I just went to my UPS my choice account, put HTC as the reference with country and zip code, and it gives me a tracking number.

Searching by EVO, HTC EVO, sprint, my sprint account # return no results.

So again, just posting what I know from what I am able to find. I will definitely post pics if is the phone, and smash my keyboard if it is not.

OK, so it was delivered 5 hours ago -- please provide pics of your brand new EVO.

well do we even know what his job is exactly?

that is for sure, im already very irritated with sprint with the lack of communication they have given theyre paying loyal customers (that being none). most of the information i got was not from sprint or htc but from just looking on these forums which has been very helpfuly. the fact that they said that all htc shippments from april 19th and forward are all to be inspected by customs prior to distribution should have set off a red flag to sprint and htc. instead they decided to take preorders not knowing for sure if they were going to be able to get them to use on the date they promised. i have never had a complaint with sprint ever since i joined wsith them when i bought my first smartphone being the palm treo 700, the way they handled this pisses me off. ive been without a working phone for over three weeks now paying 90 dollars a month for a phone that doesnt work because i sold my perfectly good working samsung galaxy s2 then because i was assured to have the device on the 18th. when i asked if they could help me out with my old evo that doesnt do anything except recieve calls they told me to file a claim with asurion and pay another 100 deductible. are you f'ing kidding me. i want me phone now otherwise im going to want compesnsation for the last month of service i could not use.
