Finally got around to ordering my 6t. It's on the way via FedEx. This is the first phone I've ordered online and had a question for those that have gotten theirs already.

Does FedEx leave the phone by the door or do they require a signature? If they just leave by the door I might see if I can change it to go pick it up at a FedEx location.

When I ordered mine, They left mine in the door.

I just went through this. You'll need to check with whoever you ordered from on what they require. In my case, Verizon requires a signature. The problem is that when the phone was delivered yesterday, the driver dropped it and left and the tracking info says no signature required. I contacted Verizon and they confirmed it should have been required and also sent an email to FedEx a few minutes ago reporting the issue. It's too soon for me to know exactly what happened that caused it to not require a signature, but was concerning nonetheless.

(Unlocked from OnePlus) I had to sign. Actually arrived one day early then stated. So I got a delivery exemption, business closed etc. So I held it at a FedEx store at my local Walgreens.

For those you may order in the future from OnePlus. My 6t arrived today ahead of schedule. Yeah!! However, despite OnePlus support telling me that FedEx would require a signature upon delivery and that they would also notify me before delivery...none of that happened! My 6t was left on my door step. No signature, no notification.

I'd suggest reporting that to FedEx like I did.

Mine was left at door as well. Although i knew when it was going to be delivered and could have had it held it i wanted it to.

Mines on the way with a 12-5 delivery date. I’d prefer no signature. I get Amazon shipments all the time with no issues.
